How we pick — and why we show you cheaper options
We estimate your trip from the per-day figures on the usage cards, then add 20% headroom and say so on screen. A plan only qualifies if its data covers that estimate and it stays valid for your whole trip. When two plans both fit, we recommend the one we'd genuinely take — and we always show the cheaper way and the bigger way next to it, with the trade-off spelled out. Competitor prices are checked figures, dated, from their public pricing — not made up on the spot. If the numbers say roam with your UK network instead, our guides will tell you that too.
